Introduction:

Hello! My name is Frances and I’m currently a senior in college
(graduating soon woohoo so excited =D). My focus is integrative
physiology, and yes sometimes I’m a total nerd when it comes to
science, but I also have a wide spectrum of interests outside school
=) I love to dance, I do hip-hop and ballet (but I’m a total beginner
lol). I love playing with makeup on myself and my friends—I always
feel so happy whenever my friends feel pretty and like how I do their
makeup =D I love reading Japanese fashion magazines for the makeup and
the style, and I actually take notes while I “study” them haha
(post-its alllll over my magazines). I also love music (pop,
Broadway), really like to sing =) I also love to sketch, and lately
I’ve been trying illustration. I love animals and I have a guinea pig,
his name is Charlie (don’t ask me why… he just looks like one ><”). I
would love to pursue makeup, but I’m actually aiming to go to pharmacy
school after I graduate, so for that reason I decided to blog about
makeup/beauty/fashion as a hobby =) Here’s the address:

I first found out about DSK jewelry from Bubbi (Yer yer yer yer!! I
have to quote her… it only feels right haha) and I immediately fell in
love with it! DSK jewelry is very pretty, sparkly and cute, everyone
knows that =) What I really like about DSK though, is that each piece
is very unique and limited, so I know I don’t have to worry about
having the same piece with a lot of people lol! I also love the fact
that it is hand-made, which makes it even more special because I know
that every piece I own someone (well in this case Steph =D) actually
spent time and effort putting them together. I also think when talking
about DSK, it doesn’t just include the jewelry, but also includes the
producer’s personality. The packaging, the candies, and the
hand-written thank-you note that bears the buyer’s name and the
producer’s signature, all make me feel like the jewelry I purchased is
personal, and that DSK cares a lot about its customers. Lastly, I love
how DSK jewelry allows mix and matches, so that not only the producer
can be creative, so can the customers =)

Why I want to represent DSK:

I would love to represent DSK not only because I love the jewelry, but
also I believe I have the right personality and appreciation. I know
how to find balance between the model and jewelry, so one will not
overpower the other. I am diverse, and not afraid to try new things
and challenge my comfort zone, therefore I think I deserve to be the
next DSK jewelry model =)

a. What’s your name? Nickname?
- My name is Frances =) And I don’t think I have an English
nickname…??? O__o sad…

b. How old are you?
- I am 22 years old =P

c. When’s your birthday?
- My birthday is on October 6, and for that reason I think 6 is my
lucky number heehee.

d. How tall are you?
- I am 5’1 although I always tell people I’m 5’2… emmm….

e. What is your career? If you’re a student, what is your major?
- I am a college student and I’m currently majoring in Integrative
Physiology… human bodies woooooo

f. Are you single? Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Married? Children? It’s Complicated?
- I am SUPER single lol… simple like that =P

g. Where are you from? Birth place? Current location?
- I was born in Seattle but my family moved back to Taiwan when I was
three months old, I was raised in Taiwan for 17 years. But right now
I’m currently in Colorado for college =)

h. Do have siblings?
- I have an older brother =)

i. What’s your ethnicity?
- I am Asian, and a proud Taiwanese =)

j. What’s your favorite food?
- Besides Taiwanese food (cuz that’s what I grew up eating!) it’d be
Korean food cuz it’s so flavorful! I also love green tea and butter
pecan ice cream from Haggen Daaz =)

k. What are 5 words that describe you? Be Creative!
-Passionate, independent, random, art-loving, open-minded =)

l. What would the title of your autobiography be?
- Making peace

m. What would you do if a vending machine stole your money?
- I would tell someone who’s working in that building! It happened to
me before and that’s exactly what I did! Don’t let other people go
through the same experience I did!

n. Do you have a tattoo? If so, where?! If no, would you get a tattoo?
- Nope I don’t have a tattoo and I don’t think I’d ever get one… cuz I
cringe at the thought of when I get old and my skin’s all wrinkled up
how ugly the tattoos would look lol

o. How many piercings do you have?
- I have three… two on my ears, and a belly piercing ;p

p. What your favorite feature? What’s your least favorite?
- My eyes I think… and I don’t have a least favorite cuz I’m trying
this thing where I love myself the way I am =)

q. How many languages can you speak, and which ones?
- I am fluent in Mandarin and English =)

r. What’s your zodiac sign?
- Bunny!

s. What’s your dream job?
- My dream job would be to become a professional dancer and a free
lance makeup artist =P

t. What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
- Sleeping in would be the first lol! I love to watch makeup tutorials
on youtube, read books, fashion magazines, play with Charlie… anything
really, anything not associated with school and studying lol.

u. Do you have any phobias?
- Not clinically (haha my science training kicking in!) but I always
say I have acrophobia… I dread heights…lol

v. What’s your favorite pick up line?
- Hmm I can’t think of any… guess the guys who ever tried were not
that creative so none made any impression haha. Sorry =T

w. What’s your ring tone?
- Right now it is “Breathe” by Michelle Branch… just breathe,
everything’s gonna be all right =)

x. What’s your favorite song?
- Uhh… there are too many… lately I’ve been obsessed about Lady GaGa’s
“Telephone”, “Rude Boy” by Rihanna, and “Make Love” by Big Bang… but
my all time favorites would be “Because of You” by Kelly Clarkson, “We
Belong Together” by Mariah Carey, and “First Love” by Utada Hikaru…
